Knights Grange Friends has been established to encourage the wider community to increase the use of Knights Grange with all its open spaces and walks beyond just sport.

It is supported by Cheshire West & Chester Council and will closely collaborate with the many sports clubs, community groups and the Town Council.

It aims to ensure the wider community has access to Knights Grange and all its facilities and to develop non-sport usage e.g. for walking, as a place to picnic or meet up, and for community events to make it come alive bringing the community together.

The ultimate aim is for Knights Grange to become an active Community Space with links across the town and increased usage by groups of all ages.

So far, we have set up Knights Grange Friends as a constituted group to allow us to develop and build a team. This also allows us to apply for funding to support ideas.

We have established a small committee working with Cheshire West & Chester Council to agree how best to encourage more Winsford residents to come and enjoy Knights Grange, and not just for sport.
